Built on over 25 years experience in event management and organisation, Prestige Events is the brainchild of Khye Woodman and Carmen Lea - who, together, have created a unique & decadent entertainment company that covers a widely diverse range of shows and events that cater to every customers needs. ​
Carmen lea
My career began hairdressing, although I have always had an interest in marketing, advertising, events, and sales.
I began organising events in my early 20s. Mostly fashion shows, charity events, community work, and political events.
I have had a colourful career from owning salons, organising huge fashion shows and charity events to sitting on the Board of Education in the House of Lords and lots in-between.
My first big solo event was in 2008. I was a young single mum who worked full time with no support, but I organised a huge fashion show for over 150 attendees. The show consisted of 30 models personally selected and auditioned.
I organised everything, from makeup artists, stylists, and designers to the choreography of the entire show.
Immediately, my hunger grew for events.

I am also a bit of an activist. I have organised huge protests and campaigns for safer streets, women's safe spaces, and children's rights.
I spent over 2 years speaking in the Lords chambers for the education committee in Parliament for similar issues. I joined their committee and organised womens events and was solely responsible for memberships, organising the rooms, ensuring rules were followed, and organisation was nothing less than absolutely perfect!

In 2018, I was part of a team that organised a project that saw every homeless person in Gosport off the streets, we had day centres with volunteers consisting of hairdressers, GP's, nurses, Substance abuse organisations, sleeping quarters, which had to be run by volunteers 24/7. It was a fantastic success!

The events side of my work is where my passion is. I pay attention to detail and enjoy seeing my guests so enthusiastic and happy. It really is where my heart is, and I know I have a very long career in this line of work.

I Started doing butler jobs as a student studying biomedical science over 10 years ago.
Quickly climbed the ranks, and moved on to Life Drawings, and featured in the final episode of TOWIE recently.
Also I was the guest star on WILTY with Romesh Ranganathan.
I love to entertain, make people smile, and share my hobby, which is my toned physique I work very hard for, for my own benefits, with people that may not see that too often. Or would like to look good for an event by me turning up.
The ultimate kick and goal for me, is to reduce amazing feedback, look the best they have ever seen, and take them as close to stardom as I can within my power, for me night or evening.
I get happy, making people happy.
Having a 3 year old mini version of me, and a wife, pushing 40.
I need to work smarter with my time, not harder. So I want to build a company and a team to carry on the smiles and making people have the most memorable times.
I work on clinical trials as a biomedical scientist now, and have had years of management experience in my previous career.
I am an amateur bodybuilder, and fitness fanatic and am also currently chasing a black belt in Kung Fu. When I have the time!
